FIGHT WORK OUT SONGS - part one Everybody loves a fight . . . ok maybe not actually getting physical but the fantasy of punching our enemies provides some satisfaction. I know when I have these thoughts, I really want to work out to release my rage. I also find that if I don’t work out for a few days, I am so much more irritable! So here are some of my favorites work out songs to play when I am especiallypeeved and need to imagine myself as a superhero seeking justice against my arch-nemesis.
“Song 2″ - Blur
You saw Drew Barrymore kicking butt to this in Charlie’s Angels, and it works perfectly. It’s extremely fast-paced and ideal for a one minute heart-rate increaser in a workout.
“Rollin (Unsensored)” - Limp Bizkit
The best song when I feel the need for a fight and helps me step into that world. The lyrics fume throughout the entire hard-core beat and I can feel my rage deplete as the minutes go by.
“Break Stuff” - Limp Bizkit
More LB . . . . but what can I say, their songs are excellent for this playlist. You know those times when you want to just pound through the wall and shatter everything insight? Now you can just use that aggression as fuel for your workout, and save some money by not having to buy new furniture.
“My way” - Limp Bizkit
Last one . . . there are always times when you just want to be the law and dictate everyone and everything in your life. Since life rarely allows that to happen, play this and it feels like a reality for 30 minutes.
“Block Rockin Beats” - Chemical Brothers
This one doesn’t have many lyrics, because the music stands for itself. You’re an unbreakable hero and you can take on anyone that gets in your way. Awesome work out song!
“What if” -Creed
Used in the opening for Scream 3, this intense song greatly correlates with revenge. Play it when someone has wronged you and only the law has kept you from retribution.
More fight work out songs to come . . . hopefully these will tide you over until then!
