If you read my posts before, you had to guess I’d have one with music from the Charlie’s Angels movies. I’m not saying they are great films (I wasn’t a fan of the sequel), but it does have great music with its action scenes. Even if you don’t find the movie all that appealing, give the workout music a chance!
“Charlie’s Angels 2000″ - Apollo 440
This revamping of the original theme song proves itself in the film’s opening. Excellent choice I play during transition from warm-up to the workout.
“Independent Women, Pt. 1″ - Destiny’s Child
This should have been on my Girlpower playlist, but it was better suited here. It’s ideal for a steady workout. If you don’t rely on a man, it is guaranteed to get your heart pumping.
“Stop the Rock” - Apollo 440
Another dance song, use this one for those faster workouts when you’re in a good mood.
“Blind” - Korn
Great fury and rage emerges from the lyrics and music. It’s awesome for those times when you feel like an Angel but want to act like a demon.
“Ya Mama” - Fatboy Slim
This plays when the girls are chasing Knox’s helicopter. It just repeats the same phrase over and over again, which I don’t find irritating because it amplifies my energy. The line “shake what your mama gave ya” goes along with our goals because we want that part of the body to look good.
“Feel Good Time” - Pink
In the sequel . . . I find it gets me going when I want break with all conventions. Listen when your life is dictated by everyone else’s rules, which for most of us happens most of the time.
Thanks for enduring some more Charlie’s Angels. As for workout music, I’m not finished yet . . .
