WORK OUT MUSIC – ANGRY – part two

WORK OUT MUSIC - ANGRY - part two

I definitely have utilized these songs every now and then when I can’t be anything but infuriated.  I felt so much better after I sweated it out, because I took all that frustration to the gym instead of saying or doing something I’d regret.  Great work out music = stay out of trouble.

“Cold Hard Bitch” - Jet

Considering I’m a chick and we all can be one of these at some point, I use this song often.  Especially those many occasions when a person deserves that side of me, but the many rules and regulations disable me from giving them a piece of my mind.

“Scream” - Michael and Janet Jackson

Great song to use when all the pressure from life builds up some rage and exercise is a great release.  I love running a nice steady speed to the lyrics “Stop pressuring me.”

“Timebomb” - The Old 97’s

This song suits quick-tempered people, especially my younger self.  I’m not completely cured, but everything used to rile me up and now I’m better at handling my anger.  Perfect song for those times you are so completely blind-sided it makes you irate.

“To be loved” - Papa Roach

Some might know this as the Monday Night Raw theme song (I only know because my boyfriend watches it).  It works terrifically for work out music because it has a fast pace and catchy chorus.  I put it in the “angry” section because the lyrics shout domination and revenge.

“Promises” - The Cranberries

Have you ever been so angry and disappointed at someone at the same time?  Listen to this awesome band’s tale of a break-up.

“Forgotten” - Avril Lavigne

Another tale of a relationship falling apart and how pissed off you get.  I listen to this every time I’m brokenhearted because a guy changed from prince charming to a royal ass.

That’s it for Angry, but don’t put your smiles on just yet.  We have songs for those “Bad Days” coming up . . .
