Have you been so angry that you can count veins popping out of your neck? We’ve all been there and we’ve all needed some outlet to relieve the stress. While using violence could get you life in prison, exercise can get you the therapy you require. I know I’ve had episodes where I was so angry couldn’t even breathe.
“Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums” - A Perfect Circle
I know this song is quite political, but I noticed it in the trailer for Fantastic Four. Sometimes I listened to the shortened version used during that trailer. These fuming beats are great for moments when you’re fully enraged.
“Till I collapse” - Eminem
When people are relentlessly putting you down because they think you’ll eventually crumble, listen to this as you sweat away their insults. I played this many times when I’ve spent a few days with my family (INSERT SMILEY ANGRY).
“Bad Habit” - Offspring
Although I play this often with road rage, it works for angry work out music. When I have to deal with stupid people who are my superiors (particularly the ones who steal my ideas), it restores my composure. It has some profanity, so if that bothers you skip to the next one.
“Head like a hole” - Nine Inch Nails
Played best when someone you trusted betrays you. This song will do until they invent a time machine.
“Flagpole Sitta” - Harvey Danger
I don’t know about you, but I have bouts of paranoia. I feel like the world is closing in on me and I have to fight them off, and that makes me listen to this. It was used awesomely in a “Disturbing Behavior” scene where the teens are running down the hall after they figure out the plot.
