EXERCISE MUSIC – BAD DAY – part four

EXERCISE MUSIC – BAD DAY – part four

“My own worst enemy” – Lit
Play this after one of those “foot in your mouth” moments.  I have learned to never say what I’m thinking.  I also never ask a woman if she is pregnant, what college someone went to until they mention school, or tell someone they look tired (it means you look horrible and nobody wants to hear that).

“Every day is exactly the same” – Nine Inch Nails
This song has always been on my playlist for those monotonous days, and it was perfected in the movie Wanted.  If your job is boring and you have nothing in your life to brighten it up, go workout and play this song.  After that, go indulge in something nice because you’ve earned it.

“Gotta Get Away” – Offspring
I use this on my worst of the worst days, when everything goes wrong and then some.  I definitely will escape in my imagination as I jog on the treadmill.  This song has such a hard beat I can play it 3 or 4 times in a row during my exercise music as I run through my anger.

“Let’s hear it for rock bottom” – Offspring
Exactly what the song says  . . . we all hit those low points in life.  In you’re ever in a rut, play this and it should help.  If you jam out to this as your sweat profusely, it will definitely relieve some pressure.

“Perfect Situation” – Weezer
I heard this song during a busy week at college and it has always stuck with me when I’m stressed about anything.  Weezer also supply a nice sound that increases your heart-rate and calms me down.  I especially like this when my love life is worse than my horrible day.

“Peace” – Weezer
Like I said, they now how to make exercise music (which I know isn’t their main arena).  This one’s slower but I also like for those hectic times in life where you just want to lay down and forget about the world.

“Rock Star” – Everclear
None of us wants to be a loser . . . but there are moments we all feel like one anyway.  Tie your sneakers, put on your headphones, play this song, get fit, and it will boost your self-esteem . . . therefore, no longer feel like a loser.  Although I promise you weren’t one to begin with.

Ok, you have bad days. For some people, they don’t want moody songs that will make their day worse.  They need inspiration!  My next batch is for you glass half-full people . . .
