We all have those horrific days where everything goes wrong. At the end of them, I know it takes a great deal of effort to go workout. That’s why I made a special playlist to help me cope with these times. I can pump up my heart and pretend today never happened.
“Falling Down” – Avril Lavigne
Have you ever had one of those days where you just want to let yourself quit? Not that I’m promoting giving up, but sometimes you just want to allow yourself to abandon an uphill battle to reclaim some sanity.
“How do I deal” – Jennifer Love Hewitt
Yes, this song was featured on that ridiculous horror sequel but it still remains a song I always goes back to on my really bad days. Life can be so overwhelming you just don’t know how to handle it, and exercise greatly helps you regroup.
“Pocketful of Sunshine” – Natasha Bedingfield
We have all wanted to run away from problems, an impossible feat. Luckily, we have her beautiful voice and soulful lyrics to help us diminish our problems.
“I’m a fool” – Letters to Cleo
Many awful days derive from making a complete fool out of yourself. The only cure is to let time pass and hopefully everyone will forget (or at least tease you less). Great tune for a steady pace at the gym while you prepare not to make the same mistake twice.
“I see” – Letters to Cleo
When your life feels at a standstill, listen to this fast-paced catchy tune. We all have those moments where we aren’t where we want to be in life, whether it be our job, relationships, etc. All you can do is listen to some exercise music, sweat out the monotony, and have a positive outlook.
“Walk over me” – Dirtie Blonde
Ideal song when you feel so inundated with everything and then you meet someone special but don’t know if you have the time or energy for them. These frustrating times call for music and movement.
Inhale and exhale . . . we’ll some more Bad Day exercise music in a few.
